Has anyone seen .....................

Post by ThMule on Mon Feb 08, 2010 3:47 pm

Frosty's new #5 Racer ........ its primary colour is silver with a splash of blue here and there ......to my mind that smashes the theory that Ford pulled the sponsorship of some teams because of the colour of thier cars ..... pl .... lease ...... what a load of shit that argument was in the first place!

Where did you see it? It's supposed to be unveiled some time today isn't it? I have seen an artist impression but not the real thing yet.
To be honest though, most of the new liverys I have seen so far, don't look as good as last years. Even SVG's has gone a bit down hill. Pretty much the same as last year except a huge 'Lucky7' sign on the back quarter. Absolutely ruins it. Even the HRT's have giant Red Rooster signage plastered on their bonnets where the Lion's head used to be....
Still at least the sponsors are getting what they pay good money for, so it's good they are being looked after.
Oh well, roll on 2011 I say....

At least the SP Tools and Irwin Tools cars are blue. Smile I think the only blue bit on Fristy's car is the Orcon signage. Smile Still, it'll look good at the front of the grid. Smile

I still reckon Ford pulled out off 888hate because they knew where they were going. The brother in-laws brother is the head mechanic at 888hate and is due for a visit over here in a couple of weeks,so i will pick his brains and see what i can find out. Stay posted

If he's a Holden mechanic, picking his brains shouldn't take you too long! Smile Smile Smile

Frosty said on his twitter page that he is very pleased with the car after testing ..... only 2 cars (didn't say which ones) were faster than him but they were on the soft tyres so says the car is good and strong!
