Has anyone put in an aftermarket Head unit into an AU Falcon?.

I have an AU3 XR8 Ute with the big factory head unit and if I put in an aftermarket one will the new head unit and coin tray fit into the space the factory one came out of? and can you wire in the steering wheel controls too?.

I'd be interested in knowing this too as after spending over $400 on repairs to 6 stacker cd its still not a great unit to use!

Yes you can!!! But you'll need to get an install kit.
Best source for things like these is a place called Ed's Auto Services. I beleive him to have the biggest range in the country.

Mounting Kit = No 377DP Will need to include pocket FALP/G for gray trim or FLAP/B for black trim.

Also if you want to plug directly into your existing loom used No 754 Loom
